MAGICAL USES OF HERBS

Seeds and roots are symbols of women and men. Tie in bunches or string together and hang over the bed to promote fertility. Try walnuts, apple seeds, corn, melon and squash seeds, burdock, dandelion and dock roots.

Water, possessing divine intuitive female energy, can be used in all magical herb recipes. The seaweeds that flourish within her seas contain the flow of womanhood.

The Goddess of the Unconscious lives in Mugwort and brings spiral dreams.

Plants with thorns or prickles are protective.

The Holly tree protects the household - especially children - when planted near the home.

Lavender opens our psychic being.

Place fresh Laurel or Garden Sage leaves under the bed pillows to repel nighttime hexes and psychic attacks.

Mushrooms are aspects of Hecate.

Gather cedar boughs from the ground after a storm for protection in your home. Place them inside above all window and doors.

Borage brings courage.

Scotch/witches broom - gather the twigs and use to sweep the ground before magical work.

Use Comfrey and violets to bring peace and contentment.

Fresh mint bouquets placed in vases of rainwater bring clarity of mind and far reaching vision.

Plant and tend the Money Plant near the front door to ensure financial security.

Lemon Balm brings happiness and attracts friendships.
